Today we had our 4-D Ultrasound...with some mixed results. When we 1st went into our appt and tried to find her, she was not only hiding behind her placenta, which is in the front instead of the back where it ideally should be, she also had both feet and both hands right in front of her face. We got a couple of pics but the tech wasn't happy with it and gave me a Coke and told me we'd try again in a few minutes. So about 10 minutes later we went back for round 2 and the result was the 2nd to last picture on here, her hand spread out completely over her face. So, again, the tech told us to take a walk and we'd try again. Went back about 20 minutes later and got a few more good ones but she just had so much in front of her it was hard to tell.
We did, however, verify that she is a girl, so that alone was worth the price of admission, knowing that we didn't have to completely start over. I've always had the fear that we'd always end up with the opposite of what we'd been told, weird I know. She also has 10 fingers and 10 toes and everything seems to be in the right place. She's got some majorly fat cheeks too! We can't wait to meet her. 9 1/2 weeks until our due date now! We'll be putting her glider together this weekend so will post more later.
